Please read these pages Before your visit and booking conditions. Below are answers to some common questions about visiting the high ropes courses.
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your start time and be ready to begin when your guide meets you at the gathering point by the "Lillhuset," located at the entrance to the Adventure Course. At that time, the equipment and safety briefing will begin.
As a full-body harness is used, we recommend wearing flexible, full-cover clothing, as it’s more comfortable to have fabric between the harness straps and your skin. A closeable chest pocket is handy if you plan to bring your phone! Sneakers work well.
We recommend using gloves, especially in cold weather. Thinner work gloves can be purchased on-site for 40 SEK per pair.
We take safety very seriously.
Our well-trained instructors are always close at hand. All instructors are trained in rescue techniques to assist customers in descending from the high ropes courses.
Before climbing, participants receive all necessary safety equipment and a thorough briefing on how to use it. Everyone then completes a practice course at ground level before moving on to the actual high ropes courses.
We use two different safety systems:
For private group bookings with adult participants, the guide accompanies the group on the courses to oversee safety. In this case, a traditional via ferrata system is used.
For open departures, where the guide monitors from the ground, the Smart Belay system is used, which cannot be disconnected. This system is also used on Sanda (the lower courses) and for children and youth up to 16 years old. When the Smart Belay system is used, helmets are recommended
The weight limit is 115 kg.
For the large ziplines included in Snörom and Vreta, the maximum weight is 100 kg, and the minimum weight is 40 kg.
Sanda: Participants over 140 cm can complete the course independently. Shorter participants (minimum height 110 cm/7 years old) must complete the course with a supervising adult.
Other courses: Vreta, Mellanberg, Högmora, Snörom – minimum height 150 cm/age 15. Children from 13 years old can participate when accompanied by an adult.
For group bookings, you reserve one or more of our high ropes courses. The guide will be up in the trees to coach if needed. A traditional safety system is also used here, adding even more challenge. Group bookings are perfect for groups seeking a more exclusive experience.
For open departures, you’ll be booked into a group with others. Each session accommodates up to 15 people. Times are available on Sundays and during school holidays, starting from Easter and continuing until the autumn break. When booking, you can choose between low or high courses.
Glöd Vildmarkskök has their forest café at the entrance; check their Instagram for opening hours and menu: glod_bakfickan/
Otherwise, feel free to bring a picnic and borrow a grill area. Firewood, grills and kindling are available. You can also book the chef privately for lunch and dinner at the forest- and lake camp.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any showers, but you won’t get very sweaty unless it’s really warm outside.
There are two small stalls in the little house "lillhuset" if you want to change.
For open departures, you can purchase a rebooking option for 20 SEK per person. You can make changes online up to 7 hours before the activity. No cancellations allowed.
Group bookings can be rebooked or canceled up to 7 days before the activity. To cancel, please contact us. The fee is 100 SEK per group.
For businesses and schools, a 14-day rebooking and cancellation period is included.
For larger bookings of over 50 people, overnight stays, or other significant bookings, special cancellation terms apply.
We have something for everyone, whether it's a company kick-off, bachelor party, bachelorette party, or birthday celebration. We are experienced in organizing activities ranging from 1 hour to a full day. We tailor the activity/program to ensure it’s a challenge and an adventure for everyone, both on the ground and in the air.
Of course, it's possible to split larger groups so that some can climb the high rope course while others participate in one of our team-building or wilderness exercises. No prior experience is required. However, you do need to enjoy being out in nature! 🙂
You might get wet, but with the right clothing, your experience with us will always be something out of the ordinary and perhaps even more challenging in bad weather.
We only cancel our activities if the weather poses a danger to our participants and instructors, such as thunderstorms or strong winds. Normal weather, including wind and rain, is perfectly fine for climbing.
Yes, the high rope courses are approved for friskvårdsbidrag.
