Here you will find practical information and rules for participation. Please make sure that everyone in your party is aware of this information.
Your guide will meet you outside Lillhuset at the entrance to the premises. We ask you to respect the starting time by being ready to start at the appointed time.
Choose casual clothes according to the weather. Sneakers work great. Be prepared with rain-/warm clothes for cold/bad weather.
We recommend that you are changed upon arrive. There is a small storage room with two cubicles for changing clothes and lockers to lock up valuables.
For the high rope course, thin flexible work gloves are recommended. You can buy them on site for 40 SEK/pair. If it is cold, you need warm grippable gloves.
Under the full body harness, it is nice to have flexible clothing that covers the shoulders and legs.
There are water toilets at the back of Lillhuset at the entrance to Äventyrsbanan. However, there is no shower.
We collect drinking water at Sandaskällan. Feel free to bring your own water bottle with water or take a walk to the spring and fill up with "the best water in town"! (The spring is 300 meters from the entrance).
If you want to cook yourself, you can stay at one of our fireplaces. When you book an activity, we provide firewood, grills and kindling. There are large fireplaces with grills in several places. The barbecue area can be used when there are no other guests in the vicinity.
If you want to be sure to have a place for yourselves, and at the same time have access to large teepees with rain protection, you reserve our forest camp ("Skogslägret") for SEK 1 500 / about 2 hours. The forest camp is suitable for larger events and parties, as well as a perfect barbecue area both day and evening. This campsite is located near our entrance at Ältavägen and there are two large tipi tents with room for up to 80 guests. There is a fireplace in each tent and a large barbecue area outside.
Any photographs that Äventyrsbanan takes in connection with the activities may be used as marketing material. Just let us know when you arrive if you do not want to be photographed.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk out to the lake camp ("Sjölägret") and the sauna from Äventyrsbanan. The walk goes on a hilly path over rocks along the lake.
Lock the sauna and ensure it is left in a clean condition. Leave the key in the designated place.

Quick and easy! From Slussen take bus 401 towards Älta and get off at the Tenntorp stop, which is the second stop after Hellasgården. Travel time from Slussen is about 15 minutes. From the stop it's only 150 meters left. Go in the direction of Älta, take the go pedestrian tunnel under the road and then go up to the right to the parking lot, pass the road barrier and you are here. SL travel planning
There is a bike lane all the way from the city, from Slussen it takes about 30 minutes. Park at the bike rack inside the barrier by the notice board.
From Stockholm go via Slussen or Södra länken and drive towards Älta (road 260). Pass Hellasgården another 1.5 km to a pay parking on the left side, signposted "P Äventyrsbana".
The parking lot is located on the left side when you drive from Stockholm. It costs 20kr/h with the app "EasyPark".
From the parking lot, walk along Ältavägen in the direction of Älta for 150 meters past Nacka handelsträdgård. Enter a small parking lot and pass the road barrier and you are here.
It is also possible to park in the small parking lot closest to Äventyrsbanan, it accommodates MAX 18 cars, do not block the road. We are not responsible for incorrectly parked cars or for valuables stored in cars.
We take safety very seriously.
We have well-trained instructors who are always close at hand. All instructors are trained in rescue methods to help customers down from the high rope courses.
Before climbing, you get all the necessary safety equipment and a thorough briefing on how to use it. Everyone then goes through a practice course at ground level before climbing the real high rope courses.
We use two different belay systems:
For closed group bookings with adult participants, the guide is at the top of the courses and monitors safety, using a traditional via-ferrata system.
For open departures where the guide monitors from the ground, a smartbelay that cannot be disconnected is used. This system is also used on Sanda (the lowest courses) and for children and young people up to 16 years old.
For group bookings, you book one or more of our high rope courses. The guide is up in the trees to coach if necessary. There is also a traditional safety system that provides more challenge. Group booking is perfect for groups who want a more exclusive experience.
In an open departure, you are booked into a group with others. At each departure time we accept up to 15 people. Times are available on Sundays and school holidays starting from Easter through the fall holidays. When booking, you choose low or high courses.
Yes, the high rope courses are approved for friskvårdsbidrag.
We have something for everyone, whether it's a company kick-off, bachelor party, bachelorette party or birthday party. We are used to putting together activities from 1 hour to a full day. We adapt the activity/program so that it becomes a challenge and an adventure for everyone, both on the ground and in the air.
Of course, it is possible to divide larger groups so that some climb the high rope course while others do one of our cooperative exercises. No prior knowledge is required. However, you must like being out in nature 🙂
Then you get wet.
By dressing for the weather, your experience with us will always be something special!
We only cancel our activities if the weather poses a danger to our participants and instructors, such as thunder or strong winds. Normal weather with wind and rain is fine for climbing.
